Dr. Christiansen

Dr. Christiansen is a gentle, caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials & procedures. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Christiansen is a careful listener & will explain beforehand which treatment is best for your individual needs.

Dr. Christiansen received his doctorate from the University of Washington Dental School. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry & endodontics.

Dr. Christiansen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association and the Pierce County Dental Society.

Karen – Dental Hygienist

Karen has been a Dental Hygienist with our team since 2001. She strives to provide kind, caring dental treatment to all her patients. She enjoys meeting new people and having the opportunity to help them achieve a healthy smile. She has a gentle touch and works hard to educate patients about oral health. When she gets that rare spare moment she loves to enjoy a good book.

Melissa – Dental Hygienist

Melissa graduated from Loma Linda University in 2002 with her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She started working with the Christiansen team in 2005. She loves being a Dental Hygienist and helping the patient to leave with a great smile! She will always keep the patient’s long-term oral health as the primary focus. Iced Vanilla Chai from Starbucks makes her happy as well as her husband and toddler.

Alisha – Dental Assistant

Alisha has been a dental assistant for 10 years and has been part of our dental team since 2006. She loves all aspects of the dental field and brings enthusiasm to her work. She loves to make sure each patient is comfortable at every visit. Her welcoming smile puts everyone at ease. Photography is her passion along with her husband and two children.

Dalene – Dental Assistant

Dalene has been an assistant for the last 18 years. She loves her job and takes great pleasure in helping all her patients achieve their dental experience in our practice. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable during their appointment and to put their mind at ease. She currently resides in Graham with her husband and two wonderful girls. In her spare time you might see her training for her next marathon.

Jenni — Dental Assistant

Jenni has been an assistant for 21 years and has been part of our team since 2010. She is a fun, energetic, caring person that strives to give the best quality of dental care to every patient. She wants to help patients overcome their dental fears, relax, and enjoy their dental experience. Jenni’s love of animals keeps her busy along with her husband, three daughters and their many sporting events.

Melissa – Office Manager

Melissa has been working with Dr. Christiansen’s team for 18 years. She worked as a dental assistant for the first 9 years and has been working in the front office for the last 9 years. During those years she has learned so much and has had the pleasure of meeting many really exceptional people. She is the first welcoming voice you will hear when you call our office. She is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable in helping with all your dental needs. A good movie, book, or cup of coffee make her day along with hugs from her two wonderful children.
